## What Tera does with your data

<Note>
  **Zero retention. Zero training. Zero human review.**
  Prompts and completions are processed and discarded.
</Note>

We do not retain prompt or completion content beyond the request lifecycle. We do not train models on your traffic. No human reviews your prompts or completions in the normal course of operating the service.

## What we do log

For operational reliability we record a minimal request envelope:

* Timestamp
* API key name (not the secret)
* Model and backend used
* HTTP status and duration
* Token counts (prompt + completion)
* Truncated prompt/response **only when debugging an explicit error you've reported to us**, and only with the affected key holder's awareness

This is what makes `/admin/logs` (internal) and per-request observability work. It's not used to build profiles of you or your users, and it's not shared.

## Where data lives

US team. US-owned GPUs. US data centers. For models served on Tera's own infrastructure, inference stays within our network. For models that route requests to a third-party model provider, that provider's data handling terms apply as well. See [Model Terms](/legal/model-terms) for the full provider list.
