How this works
Tera serves models in two ways:- Models on Tera’s own infrastructure. Tera holds the weights and serves inference directly. Your API interaction is governed by Tera’s Terms of Service. The model’s open-weight license still governs anything you do downstream with the outputs (redistribution, fine-tuning, derivative works).
- Models routed to an upstream provider. For some models, Tera forwards requests to the originating provider’s API. In that case, both Tera’s Terms of Service and that provider’s terms of service apply to your use.
